Pangolins are a small, scaly mammal sometimes referred to as a scaly anteater. There are eight species, all of which are considered critically endangered due to the high value of their skin, meat, and scales. Their survival is also threatened as their natural habitat is being used for agriculture.

Watercolor, plastic water label, plastic bag, mod podge
The blue whale is the largest animal to have ever lived on earth. These majestic creatures were almost whaled to extinction until they were considered a protected species by the International Whaling Commission in 1966. Although whaling is now illegal, they still suffer threats from boating accidents, noise pollution, by-catch, climate change, and ocean pollution such as chemicals and plastics.

Watercolor, soda bottle label, aluminum bag, candy wrapper, plastic straws, mod podge, hot glue
These tigers are the last of the Sunda island tigers. At a population of less than 400, they are struggling for survival as their home in the Sumatran forests is being lost to logging and as they continue to be poached and sold at exotic markets.

Watercolor, aluminum can, plastic straws, paper straw, plastic bag, aluminum bag, bottle caps, hot glue, mod podge
The green turtle is one of the largest sea turtles and the only herbivore among the different species. They are threatened by overharvesting of their eggs, hunting of adults, getting trapped and/or harmed in fishing equipment, loss of nesting beaches, climate change, and pollution.
